MANET-Mobile Ad hoc Network.

MANET stands for Mobile Adhoc Network also called a wireless adhoc network or Adhoc wireless network that usually has a routable networking environment on top of a Link Layer ad hoc network.

Made composed of mobile nodes, mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) are self-configuring, self-healing, decentralised wireless networks. Their versatility, scalability, and lack of reliance on permanent infrastructure make them perfect for a variety of uses, such as sensor networks, military operations, disaster recovery, healthcare, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Constant research works to enhance their quality of service, security, power management, and multimedia support, despite constraints like scarce resources and security concerns. This increases their reliability and efficiency in a variety of sectors.
