Apple has announced a ‘self-service repair’ programme for the customer that are comfortable to fix their own devices.

Apple’s repair shops sell over 200 spare parts and tools that increase the pressure after months on Apple from the grassroots right-to-repair-movement where they want to have individuals or independent repair shop that are able to repair electronics.

“Self-service repair is intended for individual technicians that have knowledge and experience on repairing electronics,” Apple said.

“Creating greater access to genuine Apple spare parts can gives the customers more options if repairs are needed”. By designing products for durability, longevity and increased efficiency, customers can enjoy the durable products that hold their value for years.
